Founder-led. Local. Built to last.

South Coast Apps is deliberately small and hands-on. I help owner-led teams across Sussex and Hampshire improve their website and the systems around it - enquiries, bookings, forms, CRM, payments and automation - with clear ownership, practical delivery and a tidy handover at the end.

JP, founder of South Coast Apps

Hi, I’m JP. You deal with the builder.

I blend practical engineering with change-led delivery: reliable systems, clear plans, fast first slices and steady iteration. If something is not right for your business, I will push back politely and explain why.

  • βœ… Plain-English guidance, no tech theatre
  • βœ… Fast first draft, then steady iteration
  • βœ… Built for speed, clarity and sensible conversion paths
  • βœ… Domains, email, hosting and handover handled properly

A technical partner for non-technical teams

South Coast Apps grew out of years of building useful websites and systems for local businesses, often in a straightforward β€œdo good work, charge fairly, improve the boring bits” kind of way. Now it has a clearer shape: founder-led delivery for small businesses that want better systems without big-agency noise.

Professionally, I have worked in DevOps and operations across telecoms, ISPs and MSPs. I am APMG Change Management certified and have worked as a Change Lead in a high-growth environment, which means I care just as much about adoption and day-to-day usefulness as I do about the technical build itself.

I have also led technology and process improvement work inside established businesses, including legal and service-led environments where reliability, clarity and accountability matter. The point is not to dump more software onto a team. The point is to make the workflow calmer and the next step clearer.

Tech transformation that sticks

The goal is adoption, reliability and measurable improvement - not a shiny launch followed by silence.

Plain-English engineering

Clear guidance, honest trade-offs and no tech theatre. If something is a bad fit, I will say so early.

Commercially useful outcomes

Less admin, better customer flow and smoother day-to-day operations - the boring stuff that actually matters.

How we work together

A simple four-step process that fits around busy teams. Most projects are scoped, built and live within a few weeks. Everything starts with the Β£49.50 Business Tech System Review and a realistic plan.

  1. 1
    Business Tech System Review

A focused 45-minute session to review your website, tools, workflow and priorities, and define what good actually looks like.

  2. 2
    Plan & fixed-price quote

A short, plain-English plan with options, timelines and a fixed price. Your Β£49.50 review is usually credited if you proceed.

  3. 3
    Build, pilot & refine

We ship a first slice quickly, often a key page or workflow, then iterate with real feedback rather than guessing in a vacuum.

  4. 4
    Launch & care

Go live, check performance and search basics, and optionally stay on a care plan for updates, improvements and quarterly reviews.
