Founder-led. Local. Built to last.

South Coast Apps is deliberately small and hands-on. I help owner-led teams across Sussex and Hampshire modernise their website and the systems around it - email, bookings, forms, CRM, payments and automation - with clear ownership and a tidy handover.

JP, founder of South Coast Apps

Hi - I’m JP. You deal with the builder.

I blend practical engineering (reliability, security, tidy systems) with change-led delivery (clear plan, ship early, iterate weekly, make it stick). If something’s not right for your business, I’ll push back - politely - and explain why.

  • ✅ Plain-English guidance, no tech theatre
  • ✅ Fast first draft, then steady iteration
  • ✅ Built for speed, SEO basics, and conversions
  • ✅ Domains, email, hosting handled end-to-end

A technical partner for non-technical teams

For years I built small websites and systems for local businesses (greengrocers, butchers, PTs) as a “Robin Hood trade” - good work, fair outcomes. Now I’m investing properly into it because the quality of service is worth doing full-time.

Professionally, I’ve worked in DevOps and operations across telecoms, ISPs, and MSPs. I’m APMG Change Management certified (Foundation + Practitioner) and I’ve been a Change Lead for a high-growth Shoreham-by-Sea business.

I also ran technology transformation for a Sussex law firm for nearly two years - improving tooling, processes and marketing execution. The outcomes were significant and measurable (strong growth over 12 months). I’m happy to talk through what that looked like during a review call.

Tech transformation that sticks

I focus on adoption, reliability, and measurable improvements - not “launch it and vanish”.

Plain-English engineering

Calm, practical guidance. No tech theatre. If something is a bad fit, I’ll say so early.

Commercial outcomes

Less admin, better conversions, smoother ops - the boring stuff that makes businesses run.

How we work together

A simple, four-step process that fits around busy teams. Most projects are scoped, built and live in a few weeks. Everything starts with a £49.50 Website & Systems Review and a realistic plan.

  1. 1
    Website & Systems Review

A focused 45-minute session to review your website, tools and workflows, and clarify goals, constraints, and what “good” looks like.

  2. 2
    Plan & fixed-price quote

A short, plain-English plan with options, timelines and a fixed price. Your £49.50 review is usually credited against the first invoice if you proceed.

  3. 3
    Design, build & pilot

We ship a first slice fast (often homepage or a key workflow), then iterate weekly with real feedback.

  4. 4
    Launch & care

Go live, check performance + search basics, and optionally stay on a care plan for updates, tweaks and quarterly reviews.
